The African NCD Champions Podcast, hosted by Ogweno Stephen, has been named one of the top 3 innovations that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic by the Global Youth Mobilization (GYM). The GYM is a collective of six Big Six Youth Organizations, supported by the World Health Organization and the United Nations Foundation.
The podcast will be highlighted during a virtual event, taking place on the 11th and 15th of February 2023, that will celebrate youth-led actions supported by the GYM over the past two years. The event will be a platform for leaders and experts to engage in conversations with young advocates and change-makers, while reflecting on the impact of COVID-19 on global health and society and the challenges that continue to be faced by young people.
