Celebrating Success: Closeout Event of the Kigali CV Project

The culminating event of the Kigali Cardiovascular (CV) Project supported by the Novartis Foundation, held in conjunction with the launch of Lifesten Health, marked a significant milestone in the realm of healthcare innovation. Bringing together key stakeholders from the Ministries of Health and ICT, the event served as a platform to reflect on the project’s achievements and recognize the collective efforts that contributed to its success.

Hosted at Norrsken House in Kigali, participants gathered to commemorate the impactful journey of the Kigali CV Project. With years of dedication and perseverance, the project had navigated various stages of development, testing, and implementation to address pressing healthcare challenges in Rwanda.

During the event, Peace and Stephen, the visionary co-founders of Lifesten Health, guided the audience through a comprehensive project report, highlighting key milestones, successes, and lessons learned along the way. These included the fact that the project reached over 1.6 million people and over 80k people screened through the project. Their insightful presentation underscored the transformative potential of technology in advancing healthcare delivery and improving outcomes for communities.

A highlight of the evening was the keynote by Aline Kabanda followed by the  recognition of leading agents who had demonstrated exemplary commitment and dedication in driving positive change within their communities. These agents were lauded for their tireless efforts and awarded with gift hampers as tokens of appreciation for their invaluable contributions.

As the event drew to a close, heartfelt gratitude was extended to all partners and stakeholders who had played a pivotal role in the Kigali CV Project.
